What the organisation receives

Facilitator-led delivery at your site or online, scheduled around your existing program calendar.

A personalised, visually based workbook for every attendee, theirs to keep.

Attendance, completion and statistical reporting generated from the SIRITIS case management system.

A close-out summary per cohort that your case managers can actually use.

What participants do

Participants map their life, barriers and next steps, and leave with a personal roadmap your staff can work from. The tools are visual and the language is plain, so literacy never decides who can take part.

Why this program exists

62%

by 2031

Closing the Gap Target 8 aims to lift the share of First Nations people aged 25–64 in employment to 62 per cent by 2031. The Productivity Commission assesses the target as not on track, and employment is among the outcome areas recorded as worsening.

The defined model

Four stages, followed the same way every cohort, so participants are supported and enabled to make long-lasting change.

  1. Orientation, personal profile and what do you want

Build rapport, understand the person’s story and help them understand their responsibilities, and the effects of externalization (blame).

  2. Life events and self development planning

Explore key life experiences, family influences and personal development across the lifespan.

  3. Values and influences

Identify what matters, who influences them and how choices are shaped.

  4. Planning readiness

Check readiness to plan and move forward using Stickman, timelines and visual tools.

  5. Service alignment and next steps

A clear participant summary and Life Plan Map to support ongoing conversations.

End-of-program checklist

  • Participant can name the concern in their own words.
  • Participant holds a plan with a first step and a date.
  • Case manager has the close-out summary and reporting extract.
  • Referral pathway agreed for anyone who needs more support.
